Christmas 08

Christmas is a very busy time of the year for us. But this year just wasn't the same. We usually have a party to go to just about every weekend. But this year it wasn't that way. My Aunt Levennia didn't have her Ugly Ornament Pretty Ornament party. My mom's side of the family didn't get together this year to play Dirty Santa. I so miss seeing my Moms sister. I don't get to see them to often. We did get to go to My hubby's Mom family Christmas party.

And of course our Christmas started out at Nana and Paws house Christmas Eve. Man at the food. Had a good time and enjoyed visiting with the family.

Then Christmas morning we get to see what Santa brought us. My son was surprise about his Wii Santa got him. And we have enjoyed playing it. I have become a Pro Bowler. hehehe I love his Wii.

And then we are off to have Christmas with my Brothers and Mom at my baby brothers house. Buy the time we all open up our gifts for each other, my brothers house is a mess. Paper and boxes everywhere. We had seafood this year, for our Christmas dinner. You can on;y eat so much Turkey. So after playing with the kids gifts and watching a movie we head home. We're pretty much wore out by the time we get home Christmas Day. I do enjoy it all. But then this year was a little different. But I love the memories I get Every Year.

Decorating

Well Thanksgiving has gone and my favorite Holiday is Coming. CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
Our family Tradition is to decorate Thanksgiving morning for Christmas. So while the Cinnamon rolls are baking and the Coffee is brewing. My hubby and son are getting out the Christmas decorations. So between the cooking and decorating, we enjoy going over some of our favorite decorations and ornaments. Before long we have the House ready for Christmas. The picture of the Old Looking Santa is really an old Santa. It was my very first Santa. My Mom and Dad bought this when I was two. Mom passed it on to me about 16 years ago. I love this Santa. The Santa on my mantle is some I painted years ago. And finally my Christmas tree. This is my new tree, I got last year from HL after Christmas. I usually have more ornaments than tree. But that's because I always put my tree in the corner and I only decorate the front of the tree. Who's gonna see the back. Well this year my new tree spins around and I didn't have enough ornaments. I had to go buy some more. I Love My new Tree.

Thanksgiving Day....

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone, and I so thankful for my Family and Friends. We went to Holly's for our Thanksgiving dinner. And man did we have the food. As always way to much and it was all real good. We had Oven Turkey, Cajun Fried Turkey, Ham, dressing, gravy, squash Casserole, Corn casserole, black eye peas, devil eggs, potato salad, stir fried fresh veggies, green bean casserole, rolls and every kind of desert you can think of. And I'm sure I forgot somethings that where there.
