And the Winner is ........................

WOW!!! I won General Layout for the GCS Page Contest in Orange Beach Nov/2008. I'm so happy. I did want so to win one of those prizes they had. But I'll take this one with a big smile on my face. There where so many, and I had the honor of winning over all those very talented ladies. Congrats to all that enter. What a awesome group of ladies and friends there. I only got about 6 hours of sleep in those three amazing day, but well worth the time and fun. Can't wait till next year. hehehehehe

Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day and I have it off just like all the kids do from MCPSS. Usually I think of this day as just a day off and I get to sleep late. But Today I drove the ROTC kids down to the Veterans Parade. I was kind of mad because When I told them I would drive, I didn't know we where off this day. So I was not happy that I had to drive. But after I got down there I was glad I went. It makes you think about all the men and women who serve our country. I am proud of our Veterans that has given us so much. And most Americans don't even honor them on this day. As I sat on the bus and watched the Parade go by, it made me think of how Proud I am of all these Men and Women who given so much to us. My Pastor went to a Military Funeral this past week and had to share with us how much he was moved by the Little White Head stones. He said that standing in the middle of all those White Markers makes you think. So when you hear someone say The Land of the Free. Stop and think At what price all these Man and Women paid for our Freedom. Just my thoughts for the day. I want to say how much I Love this Country. And I am VERY PROUD OF ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVE OUR COUNTRY AND GAVE SO MUCH UP FOR OUR FREEDOM. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU !!!!!!!!!

Word Book

Ok, I been playing with my Cricut and Design Studio software. I seen a couple of word books I like and decided to give it a try. Well here is my first word book. I thing it turn out cute. I,m not finish with it, just cut it out. I did it with George and use DS software and the new deep cut blade. I will never have to buy chipboard letters again. I don't have to worry with tring to store all those letter. I can just cut what I need, when I need. Love the new blade. Well here's a picture of what I cut. I'm no sure where I seen this book . But it is my own work. I just got the ideal from some one else. with a few changes.

OK, I did the right thing and voted today. was not as bad as the news people said it would be. When I got their the lines where long. But once I got inside, it was over I was finish in about 15 min. But I went early. I think the longer you wait to go the longer the time will be.
