My Hubby enter the Fishing Rodeo this year with my brother. He got a 3.5 lb Flounder, that he enter in the Fishing Rodeo. The winning flounder was 6.86 lbs. But ours was good eating. We all had a a blast. Haven't been to the island in years to fish. We went to Dauphin Island, Thursday for the Liar's Contest that night. If you don't know what that is, its a contest for whoever wants to get up in front of everyone and tell the biggest fish tall. And you know how fisherman are, their stories are always the best. Friday morning the cannon goes of at 5 in the morning. I was still sleeping when my hubby and brother left to fish. Me and my other brother Dennis sat around camp with the boys and went to the Pier to fish.
I don't know who like to fish more. My son Donnie and my nephew Justin. They didn't catch a thing but they did have a good time.
Saturday my hubby and brother took the boys fishing on the boat. They brought home some King, White Trout, and some other fish, but I don't remember what kind it was.
Sunday we all sent to Sand Island to swim and have a picnic. What a lovely day.
